Opportunities To Serve

The range of ministries that we're involved in is wide and diverse. You can help RCC technically, administratively, artistically, grammatically, mid-weekly, etc. (just to name a few.


~Facilities~
If you would like to volunteer to help with any of our Facility needs below, contact Jim.

Fire Safety and Emergency Response: Help to set up procedures for our response in case of an emergency.

Lighting:  Work with a team to ensure we have proper interior and exterior lighting at all times for security and safety.

Reserve Analysis Study:  If you enjoy working with numbers, we can use your help to set budget controls for future repairs and replacements.

Landscape:  We are looking for people to work with a team to design areas of our campus that need landscape replacement or have not yet been planted. 

Inventories:  Our facility does not have a currently inventory for buildings and equipment.  Contact us if you would like to help set up procedures and do the actual inventory work. 

Facilities:  Anyone handy with tools and able to make repairs in carpentry, electrical or plumbing could be of service to the church.

Archives: If you are interested in our church and its history, we can use your help in gathering information and organizing files for future reference.

~Children's Ministry~

If you are interested in embarking on a 'Great Adventure' there are opportunities for you to serve in children's ministries anywhere from passing out donuts, to holding babies, to playing with preschoolers, to guiding elementary children, to helping in children's worship, to leading a workshop!

Nursery: People who love children and are able to commit to one working in the nursery during one service a Sunday (9 am or 10:30 am).  We will provide the training.  Email Janet Cleland if interested.

Preschool Helpers: People who enjoy working with children, to help with crafts, games, and class time. Able to serve during one Sunday morning service (9 am or 10:30 am).  Email Janet Cleland if interested.

Workshop Leaders: People to lead at least one 6-week elementary school workshop Sunday mornings (either 9 am or 10:30 am). Visit the children's ministry website for more information on the types of workshops.  Email Janet Cleland if interested.

~Care and Recovery~

Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministers: People who have a heart for those in times of need, and who have gone through the 21 week Stephen Minister train class (January - May).  Email Dennis Griggs if you are interested in signing up for the next Stephen Minster class.  Visit their website for more information.

~Worship Ministry~

The worship team is in need of a few people who would be willing to learn how to run sound Sunday mornings.  If interested, contact Robert McLeish.

~Adult Ministries~

Women's Ministry
MOPS childcare workers: MOPS meets on Tuesdays, from 9 am to 1 pm.  If you are interested in helping with the childcare, please email Stephanie.

Life Group
Life Group Leaders/Host: Our Life Group Ministry is growing, and we could always use people who are willing to lead or host a Life Group.  If you are able to lead a Life Group, please email Craig Young.

~Operations~

Office volunteers: The office is always in need of extra hands to help get those mailings out.  If you have an hour or two free a week, send us an email, and lets us know when you are available to work.
