Help fire victims
If you would like to help those who have been affected by the recent fires, the city of Yorba Linda has opened a disaster relief center in the Savi Ranch Center, 22744 East Park Drive (across from Best Buy) in east Yorba Linda.  The center is open seven days a week from 8 am—8 pm and is accepting donations.  Vouchers, Visa gift cards or gift cards to grocery stores, Home Depot, Target, Kohl’s, Wal-Mart,  restaurants or other general stores are greatly appreciated.  Various other donations are also being accepted.  For more information on donations or to volunteer to help at the center, please call the donation center at 714-403-3157.  

Operation Christmas Child
Pack a shoe box for a child and minister to those who are in great need. This Sunday, November 23rd is the final day to return your shoe box to RCC. 

Cypress Street Clothing Drive
This Sunday, November  23rd, is the last day we will be collecting clothing for the families of Cypress Street. New and used clothing for all ages can be dropped off at the patio table Sunday morning. This clothing will be distributed on Thanksgiving Day to the people of Cypress Street. Please contact Geoff Smith with any questions.

Adult Ministry—Encouragers Class
You are invited to visit the Encouragers Class, which meets each Sunday at 10:30 am in C202.  Join in the excitement of fellowship, discipleship and sharing.   November 23rd, Pastor Dennis will be discussing "Coping with Cancer."  See you there! 

Stephen Ministry Information Night
You are invited to investigate the concept of Stephen Ministry at our INFORMATION NIGHT, Dec. 4th from 7-8:30pm in the RCC Library.  The nuts and bolts of the training will be shared by those who have experienced it.  Insiders call Stephen Training “LIFETRAINING”, because it covers care skills for all of life.  The next training series begins January 8, 2009 and runs each Thursday until May 14.  Call the church office for information 714-524-1744 or email Pastor Dennis. 

Snapshots of Christmas Past
The creative team requests that each family email one photo of a past family Christmas celebration, in jpeg format, to Nancy Miller by December 5th.  We're looking for shots that are obviously Christmas, not simply a family photo taken at Christmas time.  Selected photos will be on screen at our Christmas Eve service.

-Sign up for Winter Camps this morning at The Dive.  High School camp: Jan. 16-19, 2009.  Cost is $195 if signed up by Dec. 15th.  $100 deposit reserves your spot.  Junior High Camp: January 23-25, 2009.  Cost is $160 if signed up by January 1st.  $75 deposit reserves your spot.
