Welcome to RCC Stewardship – Financing God’s Work

RCC is a faith work.  We trust God for our very existence.  We are alive and well because members and friends give their tithes and offerings to the work of God generously, regularly.  We are thankful to be a part of the family of God who desires to see significant things happen – in worship, ministry, outreach, service and care.

A Theology of Giving

God owns everything.   We believe that giving is an act of worship.  It is the joyful presentation of all we are to the purposes God has put in place to minister to a world in need.  It’s a matter of the heart.  It’s personal.  And God promises to bless those who give cheerfully from a grateful heart, not from a sense of obligation or the expectation that we might get something in return.

You have certainly noticed.   At RCC there is the conspicuous absence of the offering plate during the worship service.  This is intentional.   We don’t pressure people to give.  We trust God to meet our needs.  We want our guests and especially those individuals who come looking for God to enter into his presence without feeling awkward or an obligation at offering time.

God’s heart is glad when his people come with anticipation, joy, hope and vision for Him to do great things.  Jesus taught us to give privately, anonymously; without the expectation of the applause of the crowd.  James warned the church not to favor major donors.  That’s why our pastoral staff, elders and other leaders do not access our giving records.  Only a necessary select few (counters and data gatherers) are trusted with the information for reporting and compliance purposes.  Otherwise, your giving patterns are a matter between you and the Lord.

Simply said, giving is a part of Enjoying God (together).

Our Vision

We intend to make a significant impact on our community and our world.  We have a big vision and a big God.  He is faithful.  We believe God will bring people to us who can see that vision with us - people who will join hands and hearts with us to make it happen.

Here’s how you can be a part –

The FOR GOD Box.

You’ll find a box located near the doors at the back of the church.  Place your offering in the box.  If you would like envelopes, we will make them available for your use.

On-Line Giving

On-line giving is a new SECURE service you can access from our web-site.  There are two ways to make contributions – 1) setting up an automatic transfer from your bank account and 2) using your Visa or MasterCard (as a credit or debit card)

Either way, you can donate one time or set up a periodic, recurring contribution – weekly, bi-monthly, monthly, quarterly or annually.  The choice is yours.   Automatic Transfer also means you no longer have to remember when to write your check or to bring it with you.
